My work discusses the dialogue between the external and internal landscape, seeing my surroundings as mirror and measure to conflicts, joys, crises and retreats, searching for connections and common ground. Through intimate, at times cosmic or claustrophobic, images of nature and the landscapes of my home I explore themes of security, relationships, displacement and changing identity. I graduated in 2013 with a BA in Fine Art from Plymouth College of Art. In 2013 I was awarded the Ben Hartley Prize for Fine Art and was invited on a 5 month long residency with Plymouth contemporary art gallery KARST. I have exhibited in Plymouth and London.
